Austin’s Conspirare choral ensemble nets Grammy nom

Conspirare — Austin’s five-time Grammy nominated choir — just netted its sixth nomination for Best Choral Performance.sacred-spirit-of-russia1-e1405645811772

The ensemble, led by Craig Hella Johnson, was nominated Friday for “The Sacred Spirit of Russia,” on the Harmonia Mundi label.

The CD was recorded in February 2013 at Austin’s St. Martin’s Lutheran Church.
