Texas Performing Arts announces 2016-2017 season

The University of Texas’ Texas Performing Art has announced its 2016-2017 season.

On the roster is a reprise of the Austin-made award-winning alt classical choral extravaganza “Mozart Undead.”

Purveyors of riveting and inventive shows, the National Theatre of Scotland returns with its latest, a stage version of “Let the Right One In,” the clever yet sad Swedish horror movie and novel.

British-American Aquila Theatre teamed up with United States combat veterans/actors for “The Trojan War: Our Warrior Chorus” a theatrical experience where the classic myths of ancient Greece and Rome are set against the compelling narratives of modern war.

New Zealand dance company Black Grace stunned in the 2010 Austin appearance. The troupe returns March 29, 2017.
