Need a cool night out during this stultifying heat and humidity?
On Friday there are joint openings from 6 to 8 p.m. at the four galleries in the Flatbed building, 2832 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Nancy Mims’ intriguing photo art work will be celebrated at Photo Méthode Gallery.
Mims captures images on daily walks, then prints the digital photos on linen, often adding stitching or otherwise altering the photo in curious ways.
Read our story about Mims and her artistic practice: “Nancy Mims mines the minutiae of a daily walk to create beguiling photos.”
